President
Our president and senior advisor, Jamie L. Doran, MSc., DABT, ERT, is a board-certified toxicologist with nearly 20 years’ experience in human health toxicology, exposure evaluation, and risk assessment. She has experience inthe pharmaceutical, biotechnology (including cell and gene therapy), consumer product and cannabis industries, including overall program management of global product registrations. Ms. Doran has a unique background in preclinical program management and very strong scientific expertise that she gained in her roles in the pharmaceutical & biotechnology industries as well as in consulting to clients in cannabis, consumer product, juvenile, and cosmetics industries.
As a consultant to the industry for that past several years, Ms. Doran has provided strategic advice, gap analyses, program planning, and program management for novel compounds as well as second generation products. She has extensive experience with designing, implementing, and critically evaluating nonclinical programs as well as review and preparation of regulatory packages for new product submissions.
Ms. Doran has specialized expertise in toxicological risk assessment for products intended for use by infants, children, and adolescents and has been involved in TRAs for over 4,000 products including over 3,000 unique chemical ingredients. Ms. Doran holds a Bachelor of Science from Western University in Pharmacology and Toxicology and a Master of Science from Purdue University in Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology. Ms. Doran is a Diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology and is as a European Registered Toxicologist with the Institute of Biology & British Toxicology Society (London, United Kingdom).
